Any manuscript found violating these ethical standards may be rejected, retracted, or removed at any stage of the publication process, including after formal publication. The Journal reserves full rights to screen all submissions using plagiarism-detection software at any time.

Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

Duties of Authors

  • Ensure that their manuscript is original, free from plagiarism, and has not been submitted or published elsewhere.
  • Properly acknowledge all sources through accurate and complete citations and references.
  • Guarantee that the manuscript presents truthful, authentic data and analysis.
  • Conduct a thorough language and content check prior to submission.
  • Report any significant errors discovered after submission or publication to the Editorial Team for correction or retraction.
  • Sign the journal’s copyright and ethical agreement when required.
  • Submit manuscripts exclusively through the online submission system.

Duties of the Editorial Board

  • Ensuring a fair, unbiased, and timely peer-review process for all submissions.
  • Declaring any actual or potential conflicts of interest.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.
  • Evaluating manuscripts solely on the basis of academic merit, relevance, and ethical compliance.
  • Supervising the peer-review process and ensuring consistency and quality in editorial evaluations.
  • Allowing the Editor-in-Chief to coordinate and oversee all editorial decisions to maintain integrity and coherence in the publication process.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Evaluate manuscripts impartially, without discrimination based on gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political views.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all manuscript content and review data.
  • Report to the Editor-in-Chief any evidence of plagiarism, unethical research practices, or major errors.
  • Provide objective, constructive, and well-reasoned feedback to help improve the manuscript.
  • Decline the review if they feel unqualified or unable to provide a timely evaluation.

IJLSS welcomes submissions from scholars worldwide without any article submission charges. Access to the online version of the journal is completely free for individuals and institutions. For printed copies or special print subscriptions, interested parties may contact the Editorial Office directly.
